Tandiwe Maluma | Zambia Tandiwe Maluma has more than six years of experience in advocacy for sign language interpreting to be included in different sectors of Zambia (such as hospitals, clinics, banks, and public gathering places). Tandiwe holds a diploma in Special Education and Teaching from the Zambia Institute of Special Education. She is committed to supporting sexual health and reproductive rights and advocating in the sign language field. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Tandiwe plans to start her own organization with the help of the United Nations, which will assist the Deaf community in Zambia and Africa at large. She intends to sensitize those in the Deaf community about sexual health and to help Deaf people by providing capital to set up businesses, as well as continuing with other advocacy efforts.
